1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using SE Railways MediaPulse (the "Portal"), you confirm that you are authorized to act for South Eastern Railway or an approved service provider and agree to follow these terms, applicable law, organizational security requirements and relevant third-party platform terms.
If you are not authorized or do not accept these terms, do not access the Portal.
2. Authorized access and accounts
- Portal access is restricted to approved administrators and personnel with a legitimate work requirement.
- You must provide accurate account information and protect passwords, tokens and recovery information.
- You are responsible for activity performed using your account until suspected compromise is reported.
- Credentials must not be shared, published, placed in source code, or sent through unapproved channels.
- Access may be reviewed, restricted or withdrawn when no longer required.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the Portal only for authorized media monitoring, communications analysis, reporting, records management and related administrative purposes. You must not:
- Connect a Facebook Page or social account without the owner's authorization.
- Attempt to bypass permissions, probe security controls, scrape unauthorized data or exceed platform rate limits.
- Use data for unlawful discrimination, harassment, surveillance unrelated to authorized duties, or personal commercial activity.
- Upload malicious content, interfere with availability, or provide credentials belonging to another person without authority.
- Export or disclose information except through approved business processes.
4. Facebook and third-party platforms
Use of Facebook data must also comply with Meta's applicable terms, developer policies and permissions. You must maintain appropriate Page access and provide only tokens issued for an authorized application and Page.
Meta and other platforms may change APIs, permissions, metrics, retention rules, rate limits or commercial access. Those changes may reduce or interrupt available Portal features without notice from the Portal.
5. Content, ownership and permitted processing
Ownership of Page content remains with its respective rights holder. South Eastern Railway retains rights in its reports, configurations and original Portal materials. By connecting an authorized account, you direct the Portal to retrieve, store and analyze permitted data for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
Automated sentiment and theme classifications are analytical aids. They can be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be treated as verified statements of fact without human review.
6. Data accuracy and service availability
The Portal is provided for operational support. Data can be delayed, incomplete or unavailable because of source-platform behavior, API permissions, token expiry, network failures, maintenance or human error. Administrators should validate important reports against authoritative sources before making consequential decisions.
Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued to maintain security, legal compliance, platform compatibility or operational effectiveness.
7. Privacy and security
Personal and platform data must be handled according to the Privacy Policy, applicable law and internal information-security requirements. Users must promptly report suspected compromise, unintended disclosure, inaccurate permissions or unauthorized processing.
8. Responsibility and disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Portal is provided on an "as available" basis without a guarantee that every metric or third-party service will remain continuously available. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits statutory or governmental obligations.
Users remain responsible for how they interpret, export and act on Portal information and for ensuring that their use is authorized.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for security risks, unauthorized use, policy violations, expiry of authorization or operational requirements. On termination, credentials may be revoked and retained data will be handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable records obligations.
10. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated to reflect service, policy, law or platform changes. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance by an authorized user.
